I have decided to go with the first picture I posted last time. I will be making the frame out of 3/4" A/C plywood (or a different grade if you would like). The shelves will probably be 1/4” plywood of the same grade. I am considering making the unit 3’ tall, 3’ wide, and 2 1/2’ deep. This would provide enough space for a large paper cutter (30” x 30”) to sit on top. Entire gel sheets can also fit on the shelves as the industry standard is 20” x 24”. I plan on having the shelves be roughly about 2” tall, which would allow for around 17 shelves. With these measurements, I guesstimate I will need 2 sheets of 3/4” plywood and about 6 sheets of 1/4” plywood. Also, I can definitely look into how many casters would be needed and we should discuss if you would like swivel castors or straight castors. I am also willing to make two units.
