In my first day, I worked for three hours. This time was spent mostly cutting my wood. My 1x6 wasn't in yet so I just cut my 1x3, 1x4, and 2x2. Before I cut anything I measured out the cuts on the lengths of wood to decide what cuts to make on which lengths.
After I had cut all that I could, I learned how to use the pocket hole jig and starting drilling pocket holes. I left before I could start screwing my boards together.
