As I started drafting my project in SketchUp, I've changed a few minor details. The first was the size of the drawer front. The original dimensions were too large and would have taken up almost half of the front of the nightstand. Instead, the opening is for the drawer and the drawer front itself will be 7"
Update: I also realized that I planned on the drawer being inset from the front piece. I depiceted it in my sketchup as being the same size. This caused some issues when I cut the bottom of the drawer but was resolved in the shop.
